$100/person per class

3 hour classes

classes will are about 4-6 people.

each student will receive enough clay to make one large mug and one small cup (with the option of two clay bodies to choose from)

Learn the basics of handbuilding ceramics. You will make a mug with a handle learning pinch potting and/or slab making techniques. You will not be glazing in this class. You will be able to choose your glaze which Max will apply and fire for you OR sign up for a glaze class June 3rd or 5th and paint your creation then. 

You will be able to pick up your mug about 4-6 weeks later.

Learn how to paint a mug with illustrations, layering glazes. You are welcome to take the build a mug class before to paint your own creation or max will provide a mug for you.

You will be able to pick up your piece about 2 weeks later.

These classes will be offered in Max's studio in East point.

Studio is not ADA accessible. There are two flights of stairs to access the studio. 

Please note that this studio is not climate controlled. there is no central AC or heating. There is an air purifier, portable  fan depending on comfort needs. Restroom on site.
